Last Exit is essentially a free jazz supergroup, and they cricumvent the usual free jazz noodling by virtue of a novel concept- cohesion achieved by simply playing the most agressive, "balls out" sounds achieveable. This album is similar to the previously available "Koln" cd, but since this disc was recorded in the studio the mix is quite a bit 5/5(3).
